                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 4300
                   BLOCK OF OAKWOOD DRIVE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST
                   LINE OF OAKWOOD DRIVE NORTHEAST OF WEBB ROAD
                   FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 4300 block of
                Oakwood Drive, being on the southeast line of
                Oakwood Drive northeast of Webb Road.  Part of lot
                2, block 1, Carr Farm, as shown by plat of record
                in plat book 1, page 6, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 2050, page 991, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 129B-D-1.
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to use of property for parking only and
                   maintenance of a 25 foot natural screen along the 
north
                   and southwest lines of the property.	  
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
